Yesterday we also launched on ProductHunt. @ivbran hunted the website, as we decided not to use PH power users. In our experience, if the product is interesting and good, it will attract upvotes and visits anyway.
We were featured and finished #8 with 243 upvotes currently.
PH sent us some quality traffic, we got quite a few users and domains.
First sale was also done on the first day of sparenames.com, which made us very happy!
Domain oneoffer.co was sold for $99.
@ivbran suggested to use bubble.is for our MVP. That turned out a great decision! In a week, we were able to build the whole marketplace as well as discuss and make some important decisions.
For example, we have put an upper limit on domain prices.

Both of us have some #unused-domains, that are just laying around and cost us money. We knew this was not only our problem and decided to build marketplace for such domains.

We do see the irony in this, which is exactly why the domain price is also within limits we had on the service :)
