Starting a Start-Up - Newsletter

In this post I will talk about the reason why I started a Newsletter and whats your fair share for joining.

Since I graduated from High School I wanted to start a business and become my own boss. During that time my main motivation was the money. Just money.

I did not thought about what I like and what I am good at. I just wanted to make money ASAP.

But after the first few business ideas that mostly never even came to realization, it became clear that money never should be your single reason why you wanna start a business.

During my Bachelors in a Technology and Business focused degree I acquired skills on both, business and technology side. I got very passionate about these things and started to enjoy coding.

Now after 4 years of University education and shortly after starting my Masters in Computer Science in Germany, I am very curious how far I can get with my skills and knowledge to become a start up founder.

Because I always liked to consume content of people that got were I wanna be, I thought that starting a Newsletter is a win-win situation.

For my audience I will provide really transparent and in-depth details about everything related to my start up:

• How to found a business in Germany
• How I build a functioning MVP
• How I organize the project while studying and working part time
• How I approach marketing and find clients
• and more tips and tricks/learnings that I experienced during the process

To give you an idea of skills and resources that I can allocate towards my start-up:

• Hands-op experience in Marketing/BizDev from previous Internships
• Experience in Backend (Django, SpringBoot) and basic Frontend (React)
• $1500 Capital from my own cash
• around 20hrs of time every week

Now that you know the level I am starting at I wanna give you a short intro on my business idea:

My goal is to start a SaaS start-up in the productivity niche. The product should help entrepreneurs, freelancers and young start ups to organize their work more effectively.

I know that for the moment I am just a random student trying to start a business.
