Success
Minimalist iOS/Android app to track daily tasks
I got to say these last few days have been quite an adventure!
Turned out that Success' design worked out pretty well on getting people onboard but also recommending it to their friends.
I had a few cases of users sharing the word simply because they loved the design and how it "felt".
This seems to be quite a common pattern, especially on iOS. You need to put great care in design since every user nowadays has high standards. Lesson learned: the package matters, a lot.
This wasn't the first time I published on Product Hunt and I always feel like you really need both a catchy name and a great icon to get people's attention.
I really played with this — you can check the icon on the project page — with yet a quite simple productivity app.
I had regrets for not publishing it earlier during the day which I believe got me a few ranks below where it could have been, but that's alright.
This launch got me +500 users in 48 hours which turned out to be more than what I expected!

I really needed a planner for productivity, on my phone that is. Not really into notebooks personally. Design matters to me, so Success had to feel and look good.

Congrats! 🥳 I'm building App myself and now how hard is to acquire users on iOS, well done!
Cheers Vladimirs, have you published your project on Product Hunt or somewhere?
Yes, I published it on ProductHunt, IndieHackers, Reddit and trying to promote it via Twitter and paid Ads.
