Create Magical Tales with Your Kids
Happy Friday!
Another week of marketing activities is wrapping up. I've mostly been focused on building content for SEO, submitting to directories and finding relevant newsletters for advertising. I am starting to see results with my domain ranking going up to 6! π But still no new users π I am hoping newsletters adverts will help that.
Also launching on firsto.co today would love a vote if you have a chance https://firsto.co/projects/talea.
Alright I've used the bullseye framework to brainstorm potential marketing activities across a ton of channels come up with a 4 week marketing plan that I am going to try to execute.
I'll be focusing on these channels for now:
Content Marketing
Start adding blog posts to my blog at https://www.readtalea.com/blog
Share blog posts on a aggregators, if I can find any that are relevant
Newsletter advertisement
Find a couple of parenting newsletters and sponsor them to get an ad
Existing platforms
Use directory sites to get the site listed to start building some domain authority.
It'll be interesting to see how much I need to spend on sponsorships to try to attract some users. I'll post an update when I've made more progress on this.

I'm an engineer by trade and am so much more comfortable building than doing marketing. I've build a handful of prototypes over the years, but have always had an excuse to not market my products. I am determined this time is going to be different.
Talea is in a state I would consider MVP so it's time to start some marketing efforts.
Not really sure how to approach it yet... I'm considering using the Bullseye framework to guide my efforts. Suggestions welcome!

I created Talea to help me come up with bedtime stories for our bilingual kids helping us have fresh stories available in their second language and allowing them to explore the language through stories.
