Hi Indie Hackers,

I’m Aman Kumar, a solo developer who recently launched TalkRush — a lightweight and privacy-friendly platform where people can chat with strangers online via text, video, or group chat without creating an account.

Why I Built It

After noticing the demand for real-time, anonymous conversations (especially after many major platforms shut down), I saw an opportunity to create something simple and accessible. Most alternatives were bloated with ads or spam, so I focused on speed, privacy, and a no-login experience.

• Chat with strangers instantly

• Anonymous group chats

• Random video chat

• Mobile-friendly, no app download needed

• No registration, no data stored

Tech Stack

I built this using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS, and it’s hosted on GitHub Pages. The frontend is lightweight, and there’s no backend database — keeping everything fast and privacy-first.

What's Next?

I’m planning to:

• Add basic moderation tools

• Improve user connection quality

• Possibly introduce a minimal account system (opt-in only)
