Six years later, finally hit #1 best seller

Having designed the book for word of mouth, it has grown steadily upwards over the past six years until finally (and fairly randomly) hitting #1 in two of its categories on Amazon (small biz entrepreneurship and sales). I know it's a vanity metric, but it was nice to see :).

Congratulations! I bought the book a few weeks ago and it’s next on my reading list.

An overnight success that only took six years! 😅

Congrats Rob! Absolutely deserved. An incredibly valuable read.

One of those books you just keep seeings as recommended everywhere until you finally decide to buy them. Awesome book with great insights! Congratulations Rob! Well deserved!

What do you have in the pipeline now?

  4. 2

That's quite long time, congratulations on your achievement.

    Congrats, that's huge!

Most deserved! That book has helped me a lot. I learned how to phrase questions without pre-loading meaning.

I have been both the engineer and the customer-service person in our own little startup. The Mom Test taught me how to approach solution-based suggestions and transform them into problem-finding conversations. That made a big difference for our product.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge :)

A few years back I joined an incubator

The first thing they told us is READ THE MOM TEST!

I found it very valuable and didn't regret reading it one bit, even though I normally hate startup/business books

    Congratulations Rob, you deserve it!

Vanity metric or not, that's awesome, so plant the flag, ring the bell, take a victory lap, and pop the champagne. It's worth celebrating.

Congrats! The Mom Test was recommended in one of the Startup School lectures... I wonder if that gave a boost! It's next on my reading list as well.
