Unlock Addons for Elementor
40+ premium-style widgets for Elementor Free — building towa
Today we launched Unlock Addons for Elementor on Product Hunt.
We built this plugin because many Elementor addons are either expensive or overloaded with features that slow down websites.
Our goal was to create a lightweight and free addon that still provides powerful features like widgets, popups, forms, AI tools, WooCommerce grids, and Google Sheets integration.
If you’re interested, I’d love your feedback and thoughts.

While building client sites with Elementor, I kept hitting the same wall:
basic features locked behind Pro, or spread across multiple paid addons.
Things like:
Headers & footers
Dynamic charts
Live Google Sheets data
Popups, lead forms, simple automations
Paying for 5–10 plugins wasn’t realistic—especially for budget-conscious clients.
So I started building my own solution.
That turned into Unlock Addons for Elementor — a 100% free, open-source plugin that works with Elementor Free.
What it includes today:
40+ Elementor widgets
Header & Footer Builder
Live Google Sheets → auto-update pages
AI text generator & chatbot widgets
Popups, lead capture, email forms
Dynamic charts, product grids, maps
Performance-focused (loads only what you use)
No Pro lock. No upsells. Just tools I actually needed while building real projects.

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?

Right now I’m focusing on a few simple channels to get early users and feedback:
• Sharing it in Elementor / WordPress communities (Reddit, Facebook groups, Indie Hackers) where people are actively building sites.
• Posting demo videos and short tutorials so people can quickly see what the widgets do.
• Submitting it to platforms like Product Hunt and Indie Hackers to reach builders and indie developers.Since it’s free and open-source, my main goal right now is real usage and honest feedback so I can improve the widgets that people actually need.

That’s a strong approach, especially by focusing on communities where people are actively building.
I’ve noticed that with WordPress and Elementor tools, much of the engagement comes from specific problem-based discussions rather than general posts. For instance, when someone asks, “Is there a widget for X?” or shares a challenge with a specific use case, those conversations tend to attract more engaged users.
Participating in those discussions at the right moment usually yields better results than simply posting demos. If you’d like, I can share a straightforward method to consistently find and engage in those threads without taking up too much of your time.

A while back I was building sites with Elementor, and I kept running into the same frustration: I needed powerful widgets, dynamic content, and real-time data — but everything good was either locked behind Elementor Pro or scattered across 5–10 different plugins.
I didn’t want to pay for half a dozen premium addons just to get simple things like live Google Sheets data, popups, headers, or dynamic charts — especially when working for clients with tight budgets.
So I started tinkering. What began as a small set of helpers slowly became Unlock Addons for Elementor — a free WordPress plugin that gives you 40+ powerful widgets and features, all fully customizable and working right inside Elementor, with no Pro subscription required.
Today it includes things like:
A Header & Footer Builder, so you can design every part of your site without extra theme tools
Live Google Sheets integration — update your spreadsheet and your Elementor page updates automatically
AI text generator and AI chatbot widgets for content and support
Lead capture forms, popups, and email subscription tools
Dynamic charts, product grids, interactive maps, and a few things I didn’t originally plan to build
It’s optimized for performance, works with Elementor Free, and doesn’t load unnecessary scripts — only what you actually use on the page.
I built this because I wanted Elementor to feel more flexible without adding extra costs. If you’ve ever wished you could do more with WordPress and Elementor — especially on a budget — I’d love for you to try it and share your feedback.

Free and open source. And if you find it useful, a review or any feedback would genuinely mean a lot.
