December 11, 2021 Got 50 People on the waitlist

We are progressing and getting people on the waitlist while we are preparing Usermaven for the beta launch. I've also done demos with a few founders who are on the waitlist.

Here's how we got these 50 leads:

  • Asked for beta testers in a Facebook group (SaaS Growth Hacks)
  • Listed our product on Betalist
  • Started activity on Twitter
  • Started posting updates on Indiehackers

Posting in the FB group has been the main source of leads so far. In the next few days, I'll be posting in more such groups to collect as much feedback as possible before launch.

With Useramven’s pixel whitelabeling technology, adblockers are bypassed and you get 99% accurate stats.

I am wondering how this is 99% accurate is achieved given uBlockOrigin blocks pixel whitelabeling. As does Ghostery and PixelBlock.

December 8, 2021 Preparing for the beta launch

We are planning to launch Usermaven in beta in the next couple of weeks.

Azhar and Amad have done a great job in building the initial version of this product in a very short time as it's a complex product involving big data.

We are very excited!

May 2021 Finalized the idea for MVP

There have been several meetings in the past few months where we discussed different problems we faced while running our 2 SaaS businesses (contentstudio.io and replug.io)

One problem that stood out the most was setting up product analytics and getting meaningful insights. We tried several product analytics solutions but were unable to obtain useful insights that could have aided us. And the main reason was the difficulty in setting them up. Also, the bills were high.

As we already have a few internal tools that help us answer different product-related questions like:

  • Which feature is being used the most by our high-paying customers?
  • Where are users dropping off during the onboarding process?
  • Who are the power users of a specific feature/module?

If these simple tools are helping us, why don't we double-down on building more such tools, wrap them into a product and take it to the public - that's exactly what we concluded.

So, we finalized that Usermaven is going to be the easiest analytics tool to provide full-funnel actionable insights that'll help SaaS businesses grow.

About

Usermaven is born out of our own frustrations with collecting and using product analytics for my previous products. It'll help other SaaS teams get instant actionable insights from their data to grow their business.
