After months of building, I just launched VibeBoard — a project management tool for freelancers and small teams.
Why I built it:
I was frustrated with tools like Trello and Asana being either too simple or too bloated. I wanted something clean, fast, and smart — with AI that actually helps instead of being a gimmick.
What makes it different:
- AI-powered task creation from natural language — just describe what you need to do and it creates structured tasks
- Works via Telegram too — send a voice message and the AI turns it into a task
- Self-hosted in Germany (GDPR compliant) — no data leaves the EU
- Built for small teams and freelancers, not enterprises
Current status:
- Web app is live
- Working on the iOS app (React Native + Expo)
- Free plan available, Pro plan for teams
Tech stack:
Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase (self-hosted), Mistral AI, Easypanel
Revenue: $0 so far — just launched, focusing on getting first users and feedback.

Congrats on the launch! As a fellow solo dev, I'm always curious about the infrastructure. Are you running this on a standard cloud provider (Vercel/AWS), or did you go the self-hosted route?

the telegram voice message to task feature is a really smart differentiator, most PM tools assume you're always at a desk. also the V1 to V2 rebuild resonates, it's painful but you end up with something way more solid. curious about the iOS timeline though, if your audience is freelancers a lot of their workflow happens on mobile and that could be the thing that really makes the daily habit stick. how are you thinking about getting your first paying pro users?

Right now, our priority is to make sure everything is bug-free. From my own testing, I’ve noticed that the AI isn’t working perfectly with Telegram yet, for example.
I’ve already started posting short promotional videos featuring the AI on TikTok and YouTube.
Since this is currently just a side project and we don’t have a large budget yet, I can’t say when we expect to have paying users.
I estimate that this will actually only happen once we’ve released the iOS app. I’m still working very hard on that. It’s important to me that the app is as easy as possible to develop. I’m already trying to do the same with the web version.
With other providers, I personally find it too complicated in some cases and not logical.

Solo dev launch is a different kind of adrenaline. How long did it take you from idea to first public version?

Thanks! It really is — especially when you're the only one fixing bugs at midnight 😄
Timeline: I started in December 2025 — idea and first code in the same month. Had a first working version live by end of December, but quickly realized the architecture needed a rethink. So I rebuilt everything from scratch in February 2026 — that's the V2 that's live now.
So overall about 3 months from first idea to the current production app. I'm doing this on the side, a few hours per week plus weekends. AI-assisted development (Claude) has been a massive multiplier as a solo dev — wouldn't have shipped this fast without it.
