Pay a ton of money 😬
It's expensive, but for me was a part of the motivation to get my business to the point where I can pay for healthcare. Freedom is worth enough to me to put in the effort.

I am not full time on my project, but here in the US I buy insurance on the exchange.
The monthly premiums are fine, I have enough savings to cover the deductible and then some, but every interaction I have had with them makes me incredibly suspicious that it would come through for me if I had a real health problem. It's a serious concern.
