link-in-bio tool where your page is a customizable 3D planet

April 8, 2026 I'm building link in my profile — a link-in-bio tool where your page is a customizable 3D planet instead of a list of links

What I've learned so far:

1. The 0% conversion problem was the landing page, not the ads. My original homepage was too clever (Windows XP aesthetic everywhere) and didn't explain what the product was. Fixed it with a clear headline: "Your links. Your world." + a demo world visible immediately. Still iterating.

2. Features ≠ marketing. I built a character creator, 6 minigames, a farming system, a solar system social graph, daily missions, 29 country packs... and none of that matters if nobody knows the product exists. I over-built before marketing.

3. $1.99/mo is a pricing weapon. Linktree just raised prices (Starter $8/mo, Pro $15/mo). Beacons has a 1.8-star Trustpilot. There's a real opening for an affordable alternative that's actually different.

4. Cultural identity is an underrated hook. The country flag feature (auto-assigned by location) gets the most emotional reactions. People love repping where they're from on their planet.

About

Because the internet used to be fun and personal, and somewhere along the way it became a grid of identical templates. I built wrlds.bio because your identity is not a list. It's a world.
