Countdown Timer for Webinars
I designed using figma.com based off rough sketches of what I had in mind (using Goodnotes on iPad). Decided to flex my tailwindcss muscles a bit by trying to get as close to spec as possible.
Ended up making good progress with stop functionality, and learnt a few things about the way iOS optimises for battery.
Pretty happy with this release for now. Thinking about an App version of this that could potentially be a paid thing, as well as additional features beyond the simple start stop.
Decided to learn how to use Socket.io (watched a few videos) and put together the bare minimum use case (moderator can start time and that gets pushed out to panelists).
Looks like it works for now, so cleaning up the UI so it is slightly more presentable.
Next up is looking for a little bit more resilience and persistence (its a one way push for now), and thinking of ways to monetize. Do you run webinars? What would you find useful?
