Anyone interested in a Zoom get together?
Last summer, my cofounder Nick and I participated in Startup School (https://www.startupschool.org/) - YC’s free, online course to help young companies find their footing.
While the video lectures were good, we consistently found that the most useful part of the course were the group sessions. Being able to talk to other builders was motivating and helped combat the loneliness that can come with being a maker.
We think a similar group session would be great for IndieHackers! So this Thursday at 7PM Pacific, we’ll host an open Zoom call for anyone to come discuss progress from the past week! We’ll go around and share:
- What are you building? Try to do this in 60 characters (this is the limit you’ll need for launching on Product Hunt!)
- What were your goals last week, and how’d it go?
- What was your biggest obstacle?
- Goal for this week?

I'd recommend a weekend, some of us are at full-time job during workdays. 😥 Otherwise, great idea. 💙

That's a great point - if this one on Thursday goes well, it might be fun to run a couple of these meetings per week to expand the availability surface area.

Hey, I would love something like this. I think the first 6 sign-ups can grow into more and we can all figure out a way to group people in a strategic way.
So marketing folks with pain in knowing which technologies to go with etc can be paired up with engineers like myself. Then engineers with a lack of marketing knowledge can be paired with experts in that.
Would love to help contribute to that.
