How we went from 0 to $1.3 MRR bootstrapped using our own LinkedIn automation tool

I want to share what we learned building bearconnect.io, an AI-powered LinkedIn automation platform we bootstrapped from scratch.

When we started, we were spending 3-4 hours daily on manual outreach sending connection requests, following up, scheduling posts.

It was draining. So we built our own automation tool. Then something clicked: other founders and sales teams had the exact same problem.

What actually worked:

Multi-account management was the unlock - Most tools force you to choose one account per campaign.

We solved this, and it became our killer feature. Agencies especially loved managing 50+ client accounts from one dashboard.

Cloud-based 24/7 automation — People wanted results even while sleeping. Our cloud-powered automation became non-negotiable for power users.

Content + Outreach in one platform — Before Bearconnect, you'd juggle separate tools. We merged both, and it simplified everything. That single move got more feature requests than anything else.

The reality of pricing:

We started with $67/month (Starter Plan) per LinkedIn account. That felt risky. But transparency won us over, we showed actual pricing, no hidden fees, honest comparisons with competitors.

Early adopters told us one thing repeatedly: "Finally, one tool that doesn't require five different subscriptions."

    For me, the most frustrating part of LinkedIn outreach is how impersonal most automation feels. It's so easy to sound like a bot. And the constant fear of getting your account flagged for doing it wrong.

    I 100% want one platform. As a solo dev, my biggest enemy is the "context switch." Jumping between a content tool, then an outreach tool, then back to my actual work... it's a massive pain. A single dashboard that does both is the clear winner.

    Looks like you're solving a real, painful problem here. Keep building, boss.
