What was different in March?
egghead promoted (via email newsletter and Twitter) a playlist I made on GitHub Tips & Tricks. That's why the royalties were significantly higher this month.
The vim course sales dropped but not sure why. I even wrote a new blog post too 😂
Other than that, my focus was still on the TypeScript course, a free email course. I talked to the team and it sounds like we're shooting for the first release of a paid product in Q4. Until then, I estimate side project revenue to fluctuate between $200-$1,400 like this.

Congratulations on the increased revenue, Joe! Out of curiosity, how hands-off are your courses after being released? One thing that's always held me back from creating courses is the idea that viewers may be reaching out quite frequently asking questions about the content and needing assistance. Is this the case for you?
Thank you! Pretty hands-off. I only have the one paid course (Vim for VSCode) right now and I don't spend any time on it. Maybe 1-2 emails a month but that's it.
