Yep, that’s the most direct way of feedback implementation.
Alternatively, if you want users to stay on your website, you can provide a textarea for feedback and simply send Mixpanel event, with the body of text area, on submit.

We simply use Google Forms to get user feedback and define net promoter score. This is a free tool and you can ask different types of questions there.
