Deciding to Create a Subscription Newsletter

As part of my New Year's goal setting, I revisited a number of entrepreneurial ideas I had not pursued the previous year. I decided to create a newsletter centered around digital publishing, called Blogging Guide.

I had already been actively writing on Medium, giving platform specific advise to writers. But I wanted to cover more platforms than just Medium.

I also began taking a second look at Substack around this time. Substack allows users to create a free subscription based newsletter and blog hybrid.

I decided to launch Blogging Guide as a Substack newsletter in the next few months.
