OptikAnalytics
All-in-one analytics suite & privacy-friendly GA alternative

Why does OptikAnalytics exist?
- Google Analytics is illegal in the EU.
- We need more privacy-friendly alternatives.
- We need more alternatives that aren't tied to Big Tech.
- We need a suite that includes multiple tools (sessions, heatmaps, replays) to prevent software sprawl.
You shouldn't need to piece together one tool for sessions, another for heatmaps, and a different one for replays. And then you also need to hope that they integrate and play together nicely.

Looks like a great purpose-built solution for the EU!
Since I'm US-based, I don't fully get what's behind the GA ban- how is what you're doing different so that you're not breaking any regulations? Is it just that you don't track users across domains, but it's ok to do so within a given domain?
Hey @jama, this article explains it well: https://techstory.in/eu-declares-google-analytics-illegal-heres-why/
