Scrapbook
280+ growth tactics for every step of the funnel
I've probably waited way too long to do this since launching Scrapbook publicly last April... but here it is, my first Product Hunt launch is today!
https://www.producthunt.com/posts/scrapbook
The goal is to get the #1 spot so I'll be super grateful for your support! 🙏🙏🙏
Second launch and another time landed in the trending section!
Traffic hasn't been crazy so far, with <300 visits in the last 2 days. Solid conversion, although hard to say how much it was influenced by the Black Friday sale going in parallel.

My first BetaList launch for the SaaS version of Scrapbook was very successful and surprisingly it's been driving sales for weeks after being featured.
Let's see how the e-commerce database will be received. Your support is always welcome!

After receiving lots of great feedback for the SaaS version of Scrapbook, it's finally time to launch Scrapbook Ecommerce!
Scrapbook Ecommerce contains over 180 tactics used by some of the fastest growing and highest converting stores on the Internet.
I wrote a more in-depth post here.

Error 404
Today I published the first article on Scrapbook's blog.
It's about how to (ethically) steal your competitors' traffic and customers. Some very actionable tips and real-life examples of how to reach this high-intent audience.
I will really appreciate any feedback, especially because it's the first long-form piece of content I've ever written ;)

My interview for nocodefounders.com is now live!
I'm talking about what led to starting my first side-project, the tools and time it took to build it, my early results, and tips based on my first month as a maker.
Shout out to @Joshua_Tiernan for giving me this opportunity!
You can read the whole thing here: nocodefounders.com/scrapbook
Just turned down an offer to sell Scrapbook.
This came as a surprise to me, especially that I've launched it only a month ago.
The decision was an easy one though, as this project has been exceeding my expectations so far and my only goal right now is to keep growing it.
Still, it was another sign that people find it really valuable ;)

@kacper May be this is the right decision.
I would like to know how you came up with such a beautiful idea and the unique UI?
Have you worked in marketing sector earlier ?-

You can read the backstory of how the project came to live in my IH launch post ;) tl;dr this database is something that I've been using for personal use in my marketer's role for quite some time now.
Thanks for the UI praise ;)

My cofounder and I were in a similar situation a few months ago with some production-related software. We took some time to explore the need and found it to be significant and ended with the same conclusion you did. Keep growing!

Hope this turns out good for both of us!

Hey @kacper,
Just sent you an email about the book.

As a founder, one month is definitely too early if you care about the idea. You wouldn't be able to see how far it can go! Nice job turning down the easy route.

100% agreed!

I see that this is a one time purchase, do you have plans of using any subscription model?

I do, although nothing specific at the moment. Have to figure out a good way to make people stay longer than just a month. And build the product ideally with no-code tools ;)

The celebrated part of an acquisition is the liquidity. The lesser-acknowledged part of an acquisition is the fact that you no longer have control over the product. I've seen that loss of purpose really mess with founders who exit. I'm happy that you made the decision that fits your purpose best :)

Agreed! I didn't even hesitate on my decision ;)

We didn't even get to this point as I wasn't interested in discussing the details. The project is only a month old, with really promising growth, so I want to make the most of the potential it has.

Scrapbook keeps on getting love on BetaList and has been sitting at the top, in the 'Trending Startups' section for a second day straight!
https://betalist.com/startups/scrapbook
Thanks to all IH members (and not only) who gave it a heart🙏
I'll be reporting on the results soon.

Sunday is probably not the perfect day to get featured on any list but I waited only 3 weeks so that's fine ;)
Let's see if Scrapbook will get some quality traffic.
Please give it some love and help it get to the trending section 🚀🚀🚀

Thanks, Lucas!
If I told you tactic X produced a 150% uplift in conversion rate for one of my landing pages, would you go and test it as well? I hope not ;) You'd need a lot more details for it to make sense.
The tactics are meant to serve as an inspiration. You can never blindly apply a random tactic you find on the Internet. It always has to be adjusted to your specific use case. And ideally, backed up by a reasonable hypothesis and data.
Hope this makes sense ;)

Sooo I was planning to end last week with 10 sales of Scrapbook.
But the IH launch https://www.indiehackers.com/post/show-ih-250-growth-marketing-tactics-database-81f463740f
and Twitter post https://twitter.com/kacperstaniul/status/1247915300248485888 (reposts from Ben Tossell and AJ from Carrd definitely helped ;))
went so good I ended up getting a lot more sales than planned.
OK, I'll take it ;)
Now let's get to 50.
About
Scrapbook is my personal collection of tactics collected during the last couple of years working in growth and analyzing what the fastest-growing startups do right.

Just dropping a note to say how awesome this product is. Looking forward to the next updates :)
Thanks a lot, Shaun!
I've loved your idea for scrapbook ever since you first launched. Care to tell us how you've done since the initial launch last year?
Thanks, Ben! Yeah it's doing pretty good - it's one of the 2 projects that allowed me to quit my full-time job this year ;)
