Sinthax
Collect insights smartly. No forms or surveys needed.
Hey everyone,
Just launched Sinthax after months of dogfooding it for my own products. Thought this community might find it useful.
What it does: Replaces traditional surveys with AI-powered conversations that adapt to each user's responses.
The insight that sparked this: I noticed that whenever I'd jump on a call with users, I'd learn 10x more in 15 minutes than from weeks of survey responses. But calls don't scale. So we built AI that conducts those conversations for you.
How it's different from surveys:
No more multiple choice limitations — users speak freely
AI asks intelligent follow-up questions based on responses
Automatically finds patterns and themes across all conversations
Feels like texting with a human, not filling out a form
Use cases we've validated:
Product feedback and feature prioritization
User onboarding interviews at scale
Customer satisfaction deep-dives
Market research without the research firm price tag
Current stage: Live and working with early customers. Would love feedback from fellow builders — especially if you're struggling to get quality user insights.
Check it out: www.sinthax.com
What's your biggest frustration with current feedback tools? Genuinely curious what problems you're facing.
Hey IH community 👋
I've been thinking a lot about why collecting user feedback sucks for everyone involved.
The problem: We send out surveys, get 8% completion rates, and the responses we DO get are mostly "Good product" or "Needs improvement" — completely useless for making real decisions.
Users hate filling them out. We hate analyzing them. Everyone loses.
What we're building: Sinthax (www.sinthax.com) — basically, conversational AI that talks to your users instead of forcing them through rigid forms.
Here's how it works:
You write a simple prompt about what you want to learn
AI generates an adaptive conversation that feels natural
Users respond in their own words, AI asks smart follow-ups
You get organized, actionable insights instead of checkbox data
Early results: We're seeing 3-4x higher completion rates compared to traditional surveys, and the quality of insights is night and day different.
Why this matters for indie hackers: Most of us are building solo or with tiny teams. We can't afford to waste time on feedback that doesn't move the needle. We need to understand our users deeply, quickly, and without hiring a research team.
Would love to hear from others — how are you currently gathering user feedback? What's working (or not working) for you?

Real talk: I used to think professional user research was the only way to really understand customers.
Hired a firm. Paid $2,000. Got back a beautifully formatted 40-page report that I skimmed once and never opened again. The insights were there, but they were buried, and by the time I tried to act on them, I couldn't remember the context.
The actual problem: It's not that we don't want user insights. It's that:
Traditional methods (surveys) give shallow data
Professional research doesn't scale and takes forever
We're all too busy building to conduct hours of user interviews
So I built Sinthax (www.sinthax.com) to solve this for myself.
The concept: What if AI could have those deep, exploratory conversations with users — the kind that actually reveal why they do things — but do it at scale and organize everything automatically?
How it works:
Describe what you want to learn (like briefing a researcher)
AI generates a conversational interview that adapts to each person
Users respond naturally, AI probes deeper when needed
Get digestible insights, not 40-page reports
What surprised me: Completion rates are insanely high. Turns out people actually enjoy having conversations more than clicking through Likert scales. Who knew?
For indie hackers specifically: This is built for people like us who need real user understanding without the enterprise budget or time investment.
Currently working with early customers and iterating based on feedback (meta, I know).
Would genuinely love thoughts from this community, especially from those who've struggled with the same problems around user research and feedback.

Sinthax is an advanced platform designed to help companies, product teams, and organizations gather meaningful, actionable insights from their users, customers, or internal teams through natural, adaptive conversations. Unlike traditional forms or surveys, which are often rigid, limited, and provide only surface-level responses, Sinthax enables participants to respond freely in their own words while AI guides the conversation to uncover deeper needs, opinions, and feedback. With Sinthax, you simply write a prompt describing what information you want, and the AI automatically generates a conversation that adapts to each user’s responses, creating a natural, engaging experience that feels human. By replacing static surveys with dynamic interactions, Sinthax encourages more honest and thoughtful answers, resulting in richer, more reliable insights that reflect what users truly think and feel.
The platform automatically organizes and summarizes all responses, making it easier for teams to identify patterns, trends, and key themes without manually sifting through large amounts of data. This streamlined approach allows organizations to focus on analyzing insights and turning them into actionable decisions. Sinthax is highly versatile and can be used across a variety of contexts, from understanding user experience and product feedback to measuring customer satisfaction, conducting market research, gathering team feedback, or even improving recruitment processes.
What makes Sinthax unique is its conversational approach. Rather than limiting users to predefined fields or multiple-choice answers, the AI adapts in real time to each response, creating a natural, engaging conversation that feels human. This not only improves completion rates but also ensures that the insights collected are deeper and more nuanced than what traditional forms or surveys can provide. By capturing real user perspectives in a structured yet flexible way, Sinthax helps teams prioritize improvements, make informed decisions, and drive product growth more efficiently. In essence, Sinthax transforms the way organizations collect feedback and understand their audience, offering a smarter, faster, and more effective alternative to conventional feedback tools.
