WorkZo AI
AI recruiter simulations that feel like real interviews
Between coding agents, UI work, debugging, testing interviews, and marketing tasks, it's surprisingly easy to lose track of what an agent is doing. Most of the time I just keep the terminal visible and check periodically, but that doesn't scale well once you have multiple agents running.
The biggest productivity killer for me isn't failures, it's when an agent finished 20 minutes ago or is waiting for approval and I don't notice.
I think there's a real gap here. We have increasingly capable agents, but not great visibility into their status, progress, blockers, and approval requests across tools. A unified notification layer would save a lot of context switching.
I've been building WorkZo AI for the past few months.
What surprised me most wasn't the technology.
It was realizing how different real interviews are from interview preparation tools.
Most tools ask a question, wait for an answer, then move on.
Real recruiters don't.
They interrupt.
They challenge vague answers.
They ask unexpected follow-ups.
They become more or less interested based on what you say.
That's the problem I'm trying to solve with WorkZo AI.
Instead of practicing questions, the goal is to help people practice recruiter conversations.
Still early, still in beta, but every week I'm learning more about what makes an interview feel genuinely human.
If you've interviewed recently, what's one thing that made the experience stressful or unpredictable?

Hi everyone 👋
I've been building WorkZo AI, a platform designed to help job seekers practice interviews that feel closer to real recruiter conversations.
The idea came from my own experience preparing for interviews.
Most interview prep tools can generate questions, but real interviews are much more than question-and-answer sessions.
Recruiters interrupt.
They challenge vague answers.
They ask unexpected follow-ups.
They become more or less interested based on how you respond.
That made me wonder:
What if candidates could practice with an AI recruiter that has actually read their CV and target job description, and reacts dynamically during the conversation?
That's the core idea behind WorkZo AI.
The focus isn't just on generating interview questions. It's on creating realistic recruiter behavior, including:
CV and job-specific interviews
Dynamic follow-up questions
Recruiter skepticism and pressure
Real-time interview feedback
Voice-based interview simulations
Personalized improvement insights
It's still in beta, and I'm actively improving the interview intelligence and realism based on user feedback.
If you're currently job hunting or have experience hiring candidates, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what makes an interview feel truly realistic.

hello founder of WorkZo AI
I just saw your post about WorkZo AI. Really resonated with me — especially this part: "they have the skills, but the application process itself can be confusing and overwhelming."
I'm noticing something similar with solo builders like you. You've got a solid product idea and the skills to build it, but managing what to build next, keeping momentum, and staying focused when priorities shift — that's the confusing, overwhelming part.
I'm not selling anything — just talking to solo builders about how you actually manage planning and daily execution when you're wearing all the hats.
Would you be open to a quick 20-minute call about how you're handling it with WorkZo? I think your perspective would be really helpful.
If you'd like to reach out, just search my name on LinkedIn: Nour Alskore
Looking forward to hearing from you, Nour

Hey Nour,
Thanks for reaching out — glad the post resonated. You’re right, managing priorities as a solo builder is definitely one of the hardest parts.
I’m open to a quick chat. Would be helpful to understand how you’re approaching this as well.
Feel free to share a time that works.

The strongest part of WorkZo is probably not “AI interview prep.”
That category already sounds crowded.
The sharper angle is practicing the part candidates cannot rehearse with normal tools: pressure, interruptions, vague-answer pushback, and unexpected follow-ups.
That makes the product feel less like a question generator and more like a recruiter-pressure simulator.
I’d be careful not to bury that under too many feature points. If the page leads with CV analysis, voice simulation, feedback, and personalization all at once, people may understand the features but miss the core reason to try it.
Happy to put the tighter positioning angle in writing if useful. I think there’s a cleaner way to make WorkZo feel different from normal interview prep tools.
