Hey Indie Hackers

Over the past few weeks, I built an AI-powered website builder to speed up how MVPs and client sites are created.

The main problems it tackles:
• Slow initial setup
• Time spent writing first-draft content
• Repeating the same structure for every new project
• Momentum lost to small changes

The product is now:
• Fully functional end-to-end
• Built with a modern stack (React, Node.js, Prisma, MySQL, AI APIs)
• Clean and documented source code
• Demo-ready

Due to time constraints, I’m now exploring selling the full product, including:
• Complete source code
• IP ownership
• Documentation

I recently experimented with a different approach:
What if a website could be generated from intent, not templates?

Instead of starting with layouts, you start with:
– What the site is for
– Who it’s for
– What pages it needs

From there, the rest should be automatic.

This way of thinking helped me move from idea → working website much faster, especially for:
• MVPs
• Internal tools
• Client drafts
• Early-stage products

A few weeks ago, I built an AI website builder that generates full websites from prompts — pages, structure, content, and basic styling.

The goal was to see how far I could push:

• Prompt-driven site generation

• Clean, production-ready architecture

• A workflow that agencies or founders could actually use

Tech stack:
React, Node.js, Prisma, MySQL, AI APIs

It’s now at a stage where:

• The product works end-to-end

• Source code is clean and documented

• Demo is ready

• It could realistically be scaled or productized

However, I’ve realized I don’t have enough time to market and grow it properly, so I’m considering selling the full product (including source code and IP) instead of letting it sit unused.
