WPNoise
Most Complete WordPress Hosting For Everyone
So it's been a while I didn't put an update because I did nothing to this business.
I kept procrastinating and getting distracted with shiny objects. WPNoise kept receiving traffic but no conversions. I've changed the pricing and I am trying to come up with ways to get it back on track and do something.
It has been a while since the last change.
I've advertised the affiliate program on a couple of facebook groups and even some ads but it gave nothing. But just lately, some weeks after I have stopped advertising it, the first affiliate registered and joined the program.
I'll reach out to him by email to start the conversation and see how this goes.

Today, I decided to add care only plans to WPNoise.
A lot of people have their own preference when it comes to hosting, maybe they already have their own VPS or are used to a hosting provider for years.
With these plans, we will be offering Weekly Updates, Daily Backups and monitoring.
We will be using InfiniteWP instead of asking people their Cpanel/WordPress access like similar services.
The cheapest plan costs $49/m and we're offering one week trial.

I added a new dedicated plan.
Basically, for $2900/month, we take a dedicated server with 64 GB RAM, 450 GB SSD Space (for the websites) and 1 Gbps uplink and host up to 10 WordPress installs for the customer.
It's great because it saves him the hassle of managing the dedicated server himself so we take care of everything related to the technical side of the server and the WordPress websites on hosted on it (that is Security, Updates and Performance). It also gives him the best option for faster websites.
The plan comes with unlimited bandwidth as always, great for websites receiving +1M visits per month. A similar plan with Kinsta or WPEngine would certainly cost +$2000 and I am sure they won't have a dedicated server for anyone at that price or even match our offer.
On top of that, we offer 5000 GB worth of CDN (split among the websites hosted) using KeyCDN. I am sure this plan will kickass but looking at the price, WPNoise has to build a reputation first.
What do you think?

It's not the same thing. I've read a lot of reviews about Linode and from the price, I know that it isn't dedicated at all and they have limited bandwidth (which is common when the resources are not dedicated, like connection port).
This is the pricing of the industry, Managed WordPress hosting is not cheap. As you can see on Kinsta, their $1500/m plan doesn't even come close to what we offer. $2900/m is to have someone set up the server and manage it for maximum speed and performance. This also includes maintaining the 10 WordPress websites that are going to be hosted on it.
WPBuffs, for example, charges $197/m per website just to keep WordPress up to date, optimize speed, check for malware, make backups, etc...
Also, taking the dedicated plan costs $2900/m ($2500/m when billed yearly) for 10 websites while if you took the normal plan 10 times it would cost around $3500/m ($2990/m when billed yearly).

http://wpoven.com has unlimited WordPress install in $300/month. It's a fully managed service as you are offering. I think $2900 is too much.
-
1
Yes, compared to what they offer it's expensive. But for someone with 10 websites, it costs less than taking 10 normal plans at $350/m.
I think it's cheap shared hosting. How can they offer unlimited websites at that pricing while big players like Kinsta and WPEngine offer a limited number of installs at that price?
For $2900, it's a dedicated server with 1Gbps uplink and 64 GB RAM that has a maximum of 10 websites hosted for the same client on CloudLinux and Nginx, everything is taken care of for maximum speed, security, and reliability. I doubt that their offer is really the same on the backend since it costs more than that just to hire a sysadmin to manage such a server.
-
1
As far I know it's dedicated VPS hosting. For $2900 companies can hire two full-time developers wo can manage their service. What I am trying to say that $2900 seems very costly.
-
-
-
In the beginning, I was going to opt for a reseller hosting and add CDN on top of it.
But now, I decided to go with a dedicated server instead and host just a few websites per each server to have the best possible speed for everyone. And add a CDN on top of that.
Now, this is going to impact the price as it's now for $350/month, but people get an unlimited hosting that is not limited by page views like the limit imposed with Kinsta or WPEngine.

$350/m sounds pretty high though. Are ppl catching up to this?
-
1
Yes, it's high but it's priced according to the current prices with other competitors. An almost identical plan would cost $600/m with Kinsta and +$290 with WPEngine.
I believe this will have a lot of value because I am willing to host a maximum of 11 WordPress websites per dedicated server (minimum 500MB bandwidth) and have 2,5 GB allocated ram for each one. Add a CDN on top of that and full WordPress maintenance (malware cleanup, backups + automatic updates being handled weekly) it's totally more value than it costs.
Now, nobody is hosted yet. I've got a lot of visits from IndieHackers and HackerNews but nobody took the plan yet. Looking at the price, people are probably hesitant because they still don't know the brand. I am sure that the first 10 clients are harder to get than the 100 first. Nobody wants to jump first on a new service by a company you've never heard of, they can't know that it's totally worth it yet.
Even the landing page isn't that good because I am not good at UX. But I am sure we're going to be the best when it comes to Security, Speed, and Automatism. I just have to find the early adopts which is kind of difficult when you look at the niche, competition and the pricing.
-
Today, I've got my landing page checked by Piccia Neri on a live facebook session with WP Builds.
A lot of people said that the page was noisy (relatable to the logo and name of the business) but I've made enough changes thanks to their insights. I think now the landing page is hitting it somehow, at least better than it was.

Most Complete Managed
WordPress Hosting For Busy PeopleWhat is "most complete managed"?
Why not " 360° Wordpress Hosting For Busy People Like You"
-
1
Most Complete as it has everything you need as a WordPress user. We take care of everything like automatic updates, malware scan, speed optimization and it is unlimited in page views (the plan never expires month to month compared to the industry standard), we also do free migrations to us.
I think most complete sums it up more effectively, that's why we did go with that.

Hey Mehdi,
I have some questions for you and some thoughts on your copy.
Questions:
- Who is your target customer?
- What kind of WP hosting do they currently have?
- Why are they coming to your site/service?
Thoughts on copy - based on questions above:
-
Your headline is too general. What does "Most Complete" mean? How have you substantiated that your hosting is the "most complete"? Have you compared yourself to other hosts and found that you beat them feature to feature? Until those questions can be clearly answered, I would take out "Most Complete" and specify your differentiator.
-
Also in your headline, is your hosting really for "everyone"? Is there not a super WP user who needs something a little more? Is there not a WP beginner who needs a little less? Who is your one ideal customer? What plugins do they have installed? How much traffic do they have and uptime do they need? Are they a single blogger or a corporate team of bloggers? If you are on a support call with them, what issues are they having? I would recommend tailoring your copy for that one person who will benefit the most from your service. Don't be vague. Zero in on them and you'll know how to write copy for them.
-
There's a slight contradiction in the 3 main points. You say they have full-control, yet some of the bullets under full control are also under "Automatic". Can they block theme/plugin updates or do you automatically apply them? I would clarify the differences a bit.
-
Your CTA - "Make the Switch". From what? What if they are new to WP and WP hosting services? That CTA doesn't speak to them. I would also recommend a CTA that calls out a benefit and fits in with your messaging, e.g. "Take control of your WordPress". On the pricing page, the CTA is "Unleash your WordPress".
-
Since your pricing only includes one plan, I would move it to the homepage and remove the plan name. I would also move the 8 features to the homepage from the pricing page. They're tucked away where people may never read them.
Thoughts on design:
-
As mentioned by @kengu_rut, there are too many variations in font styles. On the FAQW page, some answers are serif and some are sans-serif. The sizes are different between them.
-
I'd drop your logo size down a bit. Right now it's the second most visually weighted thing on your page. If you're going for sales, you want the CTA to be the most visually weighted element.
-
Your icons look like more than one set. Maybe they were found on Noun Project or something similar? They have mixed line weights and solid/outline styles. Try using one set so that the design feels cohesive.
-
The theme and design of the Contact page is different from the other pages. The page header is missing. The form width on a large screen causes the text above the form to be oddly aligned.
Overall, I think some white space would help with the notion of it being cluttered. They copy needs some focus on who exactly it's speaking to. Think of having a conversation with the only customer you can ever have. What would they ask/tell you and what would you ask/say to them? Write your copy from that perspective and I think it will be clear.
Good luck!

That's a lot to keep me busy for the next days and that is what I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to check the website and giving as many details as possible.
Actually for #3 what is meant is we can do the updates ourselves but they can add/delete/edit any plugin they want.

I hope it helps.

Hi!
When i visited your site, my focus was all on that big header. In my opinion it's too big to read, but somehow i just stare at it. 🙃
Also in "Included in the plan", i would like to see icons. Like Cpanel name with icon (cpanel or general one) etc. That way it would look more "full" and better first second impresion.
Hope that helps 🤗

Will see what can I do for the icons. I've changed the header a bit. Thanks for the feedback :D

hey Mehdi,
What usually bothers me in websites is when the sizes of texts and font styles vary a lot (I spot at least 7 different sizes), and I would say if you want to leave all the info, give it some more space on the page. There is also this blank space between the footer and the last block. Feels like you've done the landing page through some sort of a constructor, is it true?-
1
Hi,
Yes indeed, the landing page was made using Visual Composer. I was able to reduce the blank space between the footer and the last block but not really remove it as I think it comes with the theme I am using.
Thanks for your feedback ;)

I think your main offer is clear, but here are some improvements:
- The design of the comparison with competitors looks like 3 pricing plans that you offer. Maybe change the design to a table rather than the cards.
- The ending of the landing page is pretty abrupt with a white block at the end. Maybe change the whole to design to a single page theme.
- The pricing page has only one plan. So it is better to center it and remove the featured plan title. If you intend to have only one plan, then sell the simplicity of a simple pricing structure.
- Social proof is missing. Can you get a few reviews from early adopters?
- The registration page is lengthy with too many fields. See if you can reduce the number of text fields. Can you use the email as a username for example?
I hope that helps.
-

Thanks for your feedback, I was using 3 pricing plans to avoid installing a lot of plugins but seems it's confusing people so I am going to change that.
Thank you for visiting all the pages, that registration page trick is smart!

Here's my feedback:
- Your smooth scroll plugin/code is buggy and scroll is shaky in Chrome.
- Your typography require a lot of work.
- Your sections require more vertical spacing.
- The button in the first 2 pricing plans is empty.
- "Lowest Price" text doesn't need to be so large and before the price.
- The internal pages are also not very well designed.
- All in all, I don't like the design and content. It still requires a lot of work in my opinion. It's not professionally designed.
-

Got the smooth scrolling disabled. The button in the first 2 pricing plans are empty on purpose as those are comparison and not my plans, but I would be switching to tables since a lot of people got confused.
What is it about the content that is lacking?

After submitting WPNoise.com a few weeks ago to BetaPage, it has finally been accepted and published today.
Now WPNoise has also an affiliate program that pays $70/sale with commission increase when affiliates reach a certain amount of referred customers.

I've finally changed the pricing and removed all the plans to keep only one.
Now WPNOISE has simple pricing of $49/m for 20GB SSD Storage and Unlimited page views and all the perks of having a real Managed WordPress Hosting.
I've added a little comparison to the pricing landing page to show how we compare to others.

I finally launched this idea! I had it for months and I was hesitant and didn't know where I had to start but I finally did it like they said "Launch early". Still no paying customers but I am receiving a bunch of visits from PH.

Congratulations on the launch!
I went on your website and the UI seems to be nice, I like it.
But, I have one question in mind, what/how does it make your site different than WPEngine and other Wordpress Hosting companies out there?
I am not asking to re-invent the wheel but just suggesting you to list out some extraordinary USPs so that people can choose WPNoise over the others.
Good luck :)

All our plans have unlimited bandwidth so our clients' websites can receive unlimited visits from the very beginning. They don't have to upgrade in the middle of their subscriptions like with most plans at WPEngine & similar services.
The price is actually good too, keep in mind that we update the plugins and themes automatically so our services are more like a marriage between WPEngine and a service like WPBuffs (which costs on its own $67/m).

Congratulations on launch. It really is an amazing accomplishment.
It sounds like you're providing a tremendous amount of value, especially for people who want a little extra help with their site.
As a potential customer, I would really like it if the site took the time to really convey that value that makes you different from a regular host. For example, what kinds of site speeds can you help me achieve and how much will that help my business? Your FAQ starts to get at this unique selling proposition but I'd love to see you tell that story in a bigger way.
-
1
Also, I forgot to say: we give WPRocket for all customers even the Start plan which doesn't have the optimizing speed feature.
That feature we offer means actually setting things up for maximum speed ourselves, it includes testing LiteSpeed and WPRocket to see which one is suitable on a case by case basis as it depends as I said on the theme and other factors.
-
1
Thank you! I can say you're one of the few people who browsed our FAQ. Most people only visited the homepage and the pricing page. I think I am going to integrate it on the bottom of the pricing page.
How we optimize speed?
-
By offering WPRocket for free - it's the best plugin for optimizing a Wordpress loading speed by caching and minifying files (HTML, CSS) along with other settings.
-
By changing some settings in the Cpanel like switching the PHP version from 7.0 (which is by default) to 7.2. Most people forget or don't know about this little trick, PHP 7.2 is more performant than 7.0. We rarely switch to PHP 7.3 because there are some WordPress themes that don't support it yet.
-
We avoid hosting streaming related websites so they don't slow down the servers. Our plans are suited for blogs, membership websites, course websites (who host videos outside our servers, with Vimeo for example), e-commerce, portfolio, and almost every type no matter how much traffic they receive as our plans are not limited in pageviews/bandwidth.
For the speed, we don't have specific numbers because achieving a great speed takes into account a lot of factors that are not always related to the host:
-How the theme is coded and how much data and requests are sent to the visitor's browser.
-How much distance there is between the server and the client (the visitor).
-How much content there is on the page if it contains a lot of videos and images that are going to require some more seconds to load.
But our bold promise is, we will always look for ways to optimize and improve the speed from our side and take initiatives to fulfill that promise.
The loading speed can really help a business or break it. I had a small blog before that loaded in 4s. I improved its speed by deleting some plugins I was not using anymore and put a caching plugin. The speed was cut by half, it improved the number of visitors overnight (I concluded that most of them were quitting the site before it loaded!).
Speed is also a ranking factor now on Google among many other factors like SSL etc..
So I think a business should not take speed slightly or as a luxury, it's a must.
